We Find the Failed Component Before We Quote the Window

A window can feel completely worn out when only one part has stopped doing its job. A balance failure can make a sash impossible to use. One bad operator can keep a casement from closing. A failed insulated unit can cloud the entire view even though the sash around it is still solid. On an older wood window, deterioration may stop at the sill or lower rail rather than continuing through the frame.

That distinction is where we start. We check the glass, sash, frame, hardware and surrounding wood separately, then define how far the problem actually extends. Repair makes sense when sound construction can remain in service. ROTTED SILLS & WINDOW FRAMES
