Guy who came to do an estimate said it was a simple job. The repair rep came, tried to fix the window latch but ultimately said he could not fix it. I understand and accept that they errored in thinking they could fix it but why should I be charged full price if they couldn't fix it? Follow-Up: Within an hour of my review, Apex called to apologize that they couldn't fix the window crank closure and offered to refund me 2/3rds of the cost of their visit. How awesome is that. We agreed to split the charge so I have revised my review and would definitely use them again.

We called Apex regarding 2 windows that had broken seals. We had estimates ranging from $1,700-$2,600 to replace the windows. I called Apex, within the next few days we had someone out from the company measuring the windows and giving us an estimate. Within a few hours after he left, the company called to set up an appointment to have the glass replaced. They came out today, replaced the glass in 2 windows and were out within an hour. Very easy process the entire time. Great communication and very professional workers. I would highly recommend this company.

I had a weather facing bay window with three double hung windows. All of the trim around the bottom of the windows was rotting due to water intrusion. This wasn’t really a DIY project and most “handymen” weren’t comfortable with it. I wanted all of the wood removed and replaced with pvc. This is exactly what Apex recommended. They sent in two people that really knew what they were doing. I could tell right away that I was getting quality work. The job looks fantastic. All caulked in nice and tight like the builder should have done in the first place. I’ll never have to worry about this structure again.

The prices were very reasonable but most importantly I didn’t have to change out all of my windows because of the fog like all other companies told me I had to! Apex came out and replaced the glass at a fraction of the cost of what it would be elsewhere. They also changed out some mechanisms on a few of my windows that weren’t working properly. Don’t waste your time looking elsewhere, I did the research and this place is the best!!! Thanks Apex!!!

The quote experience was great and price is fair. Evan did a fantastic job repairing our windows. The wood was replaced with good painting and sealing. I said I'd use them again... and I did. Apex did another great job replacing glass in double-pane windows for significant cost savings. They were responsive from first contact to scheduling and the replacement of 4 windows took only an hour! Another window in my add-on room went bad and I decided to replace two more as they are the same age and would likely go soon. Apex gives a discount on the E-glass I needed for additional windows and I took advantage of the deal. Had the windows installed just a couple weeks later.

It has only been a few days since I had my work co pelted by Apex, but so far I am very pleased with my experience. From scheduling and going through the estimate appointment to installing the new glass the whole process was painless. Everything was done in less than two weeks. Absolutely no pressure from the salesperson doing the estimate. He actually gave me advice on which windows definitely had a problem to those that could wait should I want to break up the job. It was refreshing! The installers were all business yet thorough. They arrived and immediately go to work. Replaced 6 panes of glass in about one hour. It was great!

I just bought the house and asked him to give me a quote on window repairs. Not only was it a great price! He offer me 3 months to pay it full, interest free. I payed for several windows that were repaired by their professional team. They said they would call us back in a couple weeks with the quote. If we did not hear from them we were told to call them back. As expected, we did not hear from them again. Apex Window Werks came out last week and gave us a fair quote on the spot. They came out this week and repaired our window. Great job, very professional, we are 100% satisfied and would 100% recommend this company.

We had Apex come and repair 4 windows, wood and mechanisms. Two young men came, they set up a woodshop on our driveway. worked well together. One injured his thumb in a saw. they went to an urgent care, and actually came back and finished the job. We had our painters here the next day (for some other work) and they were very impressed with the work that had been done. The windows look like they did before. Our windows are no longer made and could not be replaced with the same window. This was clearly the way to go.

I was a little shy of replacing just the windows but was very pleased when completed. I was very surprised the option of just replacing the glass with low-e was available. The salesperson to the installers were very professional. I was thrilled that my paint around the windows were not disturbed in any way. I was literally prepared to repair any paint around the window and impressed that it was not necessary. The installers cleaned everything up before they left. There were a total of 9 windows replaced. I waited a bit to see how the windows would stand up to winds and the cold before writing a review. I am thrilled to say that my house has never felt warmer and holding in the heat. In fact, I use to have my heater on at least 66 to 67 . Now my my heat does not need to be any higher than 64. The price was well worth the investment versus replacing my complete windows. I highly recommend this option rather than replacing the entire window.

They windows technician was amazing. The window frames look better than new! All the glass is new. The best thing is that it’s affordable. My wife and I were driving on I480 when we saw one of their trucks. We were in need of some window repairs so we thought we should call them and get an estimate. I called and we made an appt for an estimator to come to the house. Before the estimator arrived I checked every window in the house, besides the windows that were fogged and to my surprise there were a number where the sashes were rotted and needed to be repaired. The estimator arrived on time within the period of time I was given and we went through every window that needed to be fixed. He provided me a written estimate on the spot and followed up with an email estimate as well. I called the office to make an appointment for the following week. Tim was our repairman and he arrived on time as planned. Our repairs were scheduled for two full days and Tim worked diligently during the whole time. Once all repairs were completed Tim painted or stained the windows that were recently repaired. Tim is very knowledgeable contractor. Their prices were reasonable and prior to engaging them many would have thought a need to replace all windows, however a good professional repair is more than sufficient. I would use them again and would highly recommend them for any window repairs. From my first phone call for an appt, to the estimator, to the follow up call to schedule an appt, to Tim the repairman, all were very prompt and efficient. Tim even called on the second day to let me know he was running a little late - a rarity with most contractors. Tim also stayed late on the second day to make sure everything was completed. Thank you.

I would recommend Apex Windows for anyone with a window problem. Our windows are over 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide on the eighth floor of our downtown condo. They showed no fear and handled these big windows with ease. The frames were coming apart and they wouldn't close. They fixed the frames of both Windows without breaking the glass at a very reasonable price. I would certainly use them again.

Our home was built in 1991. The builder had chosen Weathershield casement style windows. The house has 22 opening style casement windows on the West side and 8 opening with fixed center pane on the East front. The wooden sills had completely rotted away on many and partially rotted on others of the casement style crank opening style due to rain, snow, sleet, etc. Other than the rotted window sills which let all the window mounting and operating hardware to come loose, the double pane windows themselves are a very nice solid oak with solid oak frames. We had, over the years contacted numerous window companies and every last one told us that repairing the rotted sills was not possible and they would have to entirely replace the existing windows with new windows. Naturally the costs quoted for replacing some 30 windows with comparable windows was close to buying a brand new luxury car and maybe then some. Years ago I had seen a WindowWerks video on how they cut out and replace rotted wood windows and sills. Unfortunately the company was out of Chicago and we wished they could come to Ohio. Finally, they did! We hired them to repair all of our windows. It took them about 2&1/2 days to remove a window, cut out and replace the rotted window seal, caulk and paint the replacement sills (custom made on site) then reinstall and adjust the mounting and operating hardware for each window. All windows now open and close as if they were brand new. The crew were extremely careful and professional and made our windows operate like new again and a tiny fraction of the cost of replacing the windows. The cost to repair a single window would have been less than the "often quoted" installation cost of a new window. We highly recommend anyone with damaged windows or rotted window parts that don't want to needlessly waste a truckload of money on new windows to talk with this company first, they may be able to save you a car load of cash.
